    Continue reviewing and practicing breaking down code snippets and writing with technical precision.When I can be in the moment, and appreciate the process of learning and experimenting with the material, I really do love it. The times when I am the most discouraged is when I start thinking about time-frames and how far I still have to go.

On good days, I am energized by what I’m learning other days, it feels like an accomplishment to write a single line of code. I often start study sessions in a state of exhaustion- but I have built the habit over the last 8 months of showing up regardless.

    Juggling a full-time, emotionally taxing job, parenting a 15 month old, and trying to complete house projects is a lot. The biggest challenge is being able to find time and energy to dedicate to studying. For now, I’ll continue to practice, attend study sessions, and collaborate with fellow students. I’m not so sure that clarity here is essential for this assessment, but certainly something I want to work on prior to the interview portion. I find nested iteration particularly challenging right now- figuring out return values and outputs from multiple method calls from various levels of the loop. At times, I feel confident and clear, but quickly revert to uncertainty when I encounter a trickier problem. I’m finding it difficult to discern if I am truly ready for the assessment. I have attended a few formal study sessions as well as comparing code snippet descriptions with fellow students. Most recently I have been working on pairing down my code explanations to focus only on relevant pieces of the code as they relate to demonstrating core concepts instead of explaining line by line. I have been completing code-snippet descriptions and reviewing key concepts and rules relevant to the assessment. I am in the midst of preparing for the RB 109 written assessment.
